Highlights
Friday, March 18: Teens! You need to register TODAY
for the "Blizzard" if you want the cheaper price of
$25.00. If you pay at the door, it will cost you $40.00.
If you are planning on going, or have any questions, please
contact Marty & Jen Montour @ 1-802-748-5057 - they need
to know how many are going so that they can organize transportation. You will leave the FBC parking lot at 5:30 PM and not return until Saturday morning!
Teens, I can tell you that this is a great event that you will not
want to miss!
Sunday, March 20: We will be celebrating the Lord's Supper together, and Mac will be preaching on "Grace vs Law - Justified by Grace". One of the biggest demonic doctrines is that we are saved by good works. We need to know, without a shadow of a doubt, that no one can be saved, or declared righteous - justified - by God and become righteous before God by doing good works!
During Sunday School we will be discussing the message
from last week, "Anger vs Enemy". Make sure you bring your sermon notes from
last week. At 12:30 PM the men will be staying for a time of "pizza, Pepsi and
a pep talk". The DVD is by Blake Mycoskle, 35 year old founder of Toms Shoes.
I have heard that this is a wonderful message! At 6:00 PM there will be a time of
prayer at Karl & Ilse's.
Can you believe that it's time for Marsha Dickerman's annual Fried Dough Feast! Marsha has a sign up at the back of the church (hanging on the door frame). Please pick a date (Sunday, March 27 or Sunday,April 3) and sign your name. That's all there
is to it! If you need directions to Marsha's home, just give her a call. Her number is
on the sign up sheet. I can give first hand testimony as to the absolute deliciousness
that is awaiting y'all!. Make sure you sign up Sunday!
Speaking of sign-ups - have you all seen the sample pictorial directory? It's just wonderful, and I know you will all want a copy. Please make sure you put your name down, and how many copies you want, and how many copies you want to sponsor.
The price is $10.00 a copy. It's not too late to get your picture taken for it - or to submit a different picture. Just talk to Peggy Howes.
Wanted: Young musicians! Are you a teen (or a little older)? Do you play an instrument? Are you interested in starting a Christian band? Then you need to let
Pastor Mac know! He's already got several names - why not add yours to his list!
Are you a young single person, or a single parent, and interested in starting a
fellowship group? Please contact Billy Langdoc, or the church office.
Ladies, if you are interested in going to the Women of Faith conference in November, please
fill out a purple form (located in the back of the sanctuary) and hand it in to Shayla Edwards or
Kim Skidmore, with your $25.00 registration fee. If you can pay $89.00, you will have a chance to win 1 of 2 tickets. The balance is due by Aug. 1.
Here's what's happening for Easter
Friday, April 22: We will have a Good Friday Passover and Seder Meal led by Oded Cohen from "Jews for Jesus". We need your help! Please sign up to help set up, prepare parts of the meal, clean up afterwards or help set up the sanctuary for Easter Sunday.
There is a sign-up at the back of the sanctuary for the Easter continental breakfast. If you can help with this in anyway, please sign up.
